i’ve been smoking marijuana for a long time, but sometimes it seems like i’m getting high from the lack of oxygen in my lungs. Or would THC play a major role in my getting completely and utterly stoned and raiding the fridge?

the THC is the chemical that alters the functions of the mind. STOP SMOKING POT!!!!!!!!

    3. john n says:

THC is the active ingredient in pot, and is responsible for the symptoms you describe.

    6. Weekend Warrior says:

THC is primarily responsible for the “high” associated with marijuana.

    7. graceangeleve says:

thc… Not lack of oxygen, if that was the case, People would be holding their breath to get high all the time. You’d see cases of people dying from holding their breath… Its the THC FOR SURE!

    8. ToxicJ says:

THC is the culprit. It’s the major psychoactive component in marijuana. I doubt that smoking marijuana results in oxygen deprivation, and moreover, oxygen deprivation itself would not cause the psychotropic effects associated with being ‘high.’

    9. Common Sense says:

      Hold your breath..
      Did you get high ?
      Must be the THC then…
