There are many people in the world that smoke weed on a regular basis. Marijuana has become very popular and recently there have been just as many people looking for a way to quit smoking weed forever. Here are a few tools that you can use when you want to stop smoking weed.
First thing that you have to do when you make the decision to quit weed is be committed. Those who want to quit have to be sure that this is what they want to do and that they will not fall into peer pressure. There have been many people that said they wanted to quit but were not 100% committed to the quitting process. What everyone must understand is that if you are not serious you will fail. You can only succeed if you are committed to the change and only if you want to quit.
The next step that you have to take when you are in the process of quitting is picking an actual quit date. Making the decision to stop smoking weed is difficult but if you give yourself a date when it will begin it will help. Knowing the actual day that you plan to quit is good because you can use the time before that date to prepare yourself for the dramatic lifestyle change. Since smoking weed become such a big part in peoples lives, preparing oneself will help the process. When you decide to stop smoking marijuana you should pick a date within one month of that day. Longer than that will give you too much time and you will not go through with the process.
After you are 100% sure and committed to quitting weed you should then get rid of all of your things related to pot. Pot smokers have tons of things around them that is rated to smoking marijuana like pipes, bongs, papers, scales, etc. Throwing those things away or giving them to someone else will help you in your process. If you keep those things around you can be tempted much easier to falling back into your old ways. When you stop smoking weed you will have cravings for the high that marijuana provides and if you have weed paraphernalia around it will much easier to spark up again.
When you stop smoking weed it will be a difficult thing to get used to but if you follow these three basic steps you can and will be successful. Be committed, pick a quit date and throw out all of your paraphernalia and you can be drug free for good. It will not be easy but it will be well worth the hard work you put into it. Quit smoking weed now and change your life around.

Pretty simple question, I guess. What would you do if your neighbors were smoking pot outside?
I had neighbors next door that would smoke weed, for as long as I could remember, and they still do now (I’m just in college). When I was young I just thought they were smoking cigarettes, so I never really knew until I took D.A.R.E. in like 5th grade. After D.A.R.E. I told my parents that they were smoking marijuana, and that they needed to go to jail. My parents always sort of rolled their eyes, and told me to can it pretty much. I always thought that I should of called the police until some time in middle school when my parents finally talked to me about drugs, sex, growing up etc. My parents aren’t stoners or anything, nor would they condone me smoking weed. They just think marijuana laws are stupid and pointless. They also said that the next door neighbors are responsible and successful business owners, and just because they smoke pot doesn’t mean they are irresponsible lunatics.
So, if my neighbors were smoking weed, I wouldn’t care at all. If the smell was overwhelming and seeping into my house, I wouldn’t call the police. I would simply talk to them and request that they try to contain the smoke/scent, or make it minimal. Of course I could always ask for a few puffs, just kidding haha
.
What would you do? Ignore it? Call the police? Talk to them?
I know how you feel. beyond doubt I realize just how you you’re feeling. It is a dark, ill situation you are in. Almost like a narrow pipe that you can barely take a breath and your success has disappeared. From my individual ex relationship, let me tell you this, you can forget your ex boyfriend immediately, your life will get improved, you will see someone who is real and you are more than precious of both affection and love.

You may ask yourself why you will never seem to get over him? Do not look unpleasant that you are yet to get over this guy. Everbody states time is the best therapist, though that may have some solidity to it, it?s a guideline, not a guarantee. And I agree that when you go through a break up, it appears like the people you care give you an unvoiced time-limit in which to forget him. They will be forgiving and sympathy for a while, but when you?ve reached the level where they believe you should be over it, they appear to stop hearing. And this just makes you feel unsocial in your feelings and like a failure for not recover from it sooner.
Everybody heals at their own pace. Three weeks may look long time to one individual, but for you, the wounds are still fresh and the marks still traumatic. And it does not matter that you never had a traditional ‘boyfriend or girlfriend relationship’ because it hurts inside, the bond you had was deep and your love and sadness ran very high. You are not a failure. You are a smarter than your ex know. Sympathise that, take that.
A new study suggests no, there have never been any reports indicating that someone has gotten lung cancer from weed.
“May 23, 2006 — People who smoke marijuana do not appear to be at increased risk for developing lung cancerlung cancer, new research suggests.
While a clear increase in cancercancer risk was seen among cigarette smokers in the study, no such association was seen for regular cannabis users.
Even very heavy, long-term marijuana users who had smoked more than 22,000 joints over a lifetime seemed to have no greater risk than infrequent marijuana users or nonusers.
The findings surprised the study’s researchers, who expected to see an increase in cancer among people who smoked marijuana regularly in their youth.
“We know that there are as many or more carcinogens and co-carcinogens in marijuana smoke as in cigarettes,” researcher Donald Tashkin, MD, of UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine tells WebMD. “But we did not find any evidence for an increase in cancer risk for even heavy marijuana smoking.” Carcinogens are substances that cause cancer.
Tashkin presented the findings today at The American Thoracic Society’s 102nd International Conference, held in San Diego.Boomers Reaching Cancer Age
The study population was limited to people who were younger than 60 because people older than that would probably not have used marijuana in their teens and early adult years.
“People who may have smoked marijuana in their youth are just now getting to the age when cancers are being seen,” Tashkin says.
A total of 611 lung cancer patients living in Los Angeles County, and 601 patients with other cancers of the head and neck were compared with 1,040 people without cancer matched for age, sex, and the neighborhood they lived in.
All the participants were asked about lifetime use of marijuana, tobacco, and alcohol, as well as other drugs, their diets, occupation, family history of lung cancer, and socioeconomic status.
The heaviest marijuana users in the study had smoked more than 22,000 joints, while moderately heavy smokers had smoked between 11,000 and 22,000 joints.
While two-pack-a-day or more cigarette smokers were found to have a 20-fold increase in lung cancer risk, no elevation in risk was seen for even the very heaviest marijuana smokers.
The more tobacco a person smoked, the greater their risk of developing lung cancer and other cancers of the head and neck. But people who smoked more marijuana were not at increased risk compared with people who smoked less and people who didn’t smoke at all. ”

It’s important to not confuse a hookah with a bong. A bong has a solid mouth piece at the top of the device. A hookah has a flexible tube leading up to the mouth piece that you suck the smoke out of. Usually used for tobacco smoking, a hookah is nice to smoke weed out of, as well. Sometimes cannabis users mix it with flavored tobacco to enhance the initial buzz and give your high a particular taste. Flavored pipe tobacco can be purchased in a variety of delicious kinds, so find one that you like the most if you’re trying a hookah.
The difference between smoking a hookah and a blunt, for example, is that you can’t control how much smoke you inhale as well. With a blunt, or a pipe, or a joint, you inhale the THC in your mouth first, and then breathe it in with air. If you’re using a hookah, you inhale the bud directly into your lungs. This leaves you little control over how well it’ll hit, and how much smoke to actually breathe in. The science behind how it works is complicated, and involves a bit of chemistry. Using convection and conduction, you need to apply just the right amount of air pressure when sucking the smoke in. No wonder it’s harder to hit a hookah right than a bong or a can! Basically what you have to do is create lower air pressure at the base of the hookah than at the top. Much like a bong, this causes the smoke to filter through water, or whatever other liquid you decide to use to cool your smoke. The benefit of a hookah is that you can control the proper amount of heat transfer by moistening your bud prior to the actual process of smoking weed. That’s how it’s intended for tobacco, so that’s how it should be done with bud, as well.
A piece of tin foil with pinholes (can be done with a thumbtack) can act like a screen for your hookah. This can aid in airflow regulation and air pressure disbursement in the device. Putting ice in the liquid chamber is proven to be a good idea to cool the smoke down extra cold, for easier inhalation. You need to fill up the tobacco chamber about an inch, and put a lighter to it as you’re about to hit it. Don’t pack the bowl too tightly, or the smoke will have little room to go through, and this will mess up the whole process. To keep the hose clean, blow hard through it to get anything that may be stuck inside out. The tinfoil that was mentioned earlier goes over top of the bowl with weed, to keep heat spread out evenly. About thirty to forty holes should suffice. The proper way to smoke a hookah is to put a piece of coal over the tinfoil, but if you don’t have that, just use a lighter and move it over the tinfoil evenly.
Smoke up, and enjoy your hookah responsibly!
