St. Louis, Missouri is the place where on the February 20, 2010 will be the center where every smoker that uses pipe smoke from the whole world will celebrate the International Pipe Smoking Day. The whole party will be at the Heart of St. Charles Banquet Center. And in the same day it will already be celebrated the 22nd Annual Gateway Area Pipe Show.

Local pipe smokers will salute their pipe smoking sisters and brothers from all over the world by raising in the air their pipes. This way they will show their friendship and respect. The sponsor of the show that will be presented that day is Louis Pipe Club. All the details about the celebration are taken care of Bob Callaway, who is the spokesperson of the Pipe Club.

Three years ago a group from Smokers Forum decided to design the International Pipe Smoking Day as a day when pipe smokers from all corners of the world are friendly with each other, share their stories and educate other persons how noble is the art of smoking a pipe. The group that designed this day had the purpose to bring together all smokers that collect pipes, smoke them or just like their aspect. All of those that participate at the International Day respect the adult decision to smoke tobacco.

This important day for pipe smokers gives them the opportunity to share their love to tobacco and to tell the world that they enjoy their pipes, even though there are so many restrictions, smoking bans and tax raisings.

International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association which includes 2000 retailers of tobacco products is supporting the International Pipe Smoking Day. Another supporter is the International Committee of Pipe Clubs, which has so many members from all over the world, from more than 25 countries. The United Pipe Clubs of America also represents a supporter and it has more than 20 club members in the USA. There are many different pipe clubs from the whole country that will have interesting events on that day.

The motto of this day “Relax with Your Pipe”. The persons that smoke pipe are adults and know what they are doing. They are very good people and don’t want to bother, but they want their decision to be respected.

One reason is many people begin smoking at a young age and are foolish. Other reasons are that they just do not care about the effects and the other complications smoking bring. Moreover, this information is not readily made available to the public unless it is specifically looked for or researched.

What if the person did call or ask the tobacco companies or the makers and manufactures of the cigarettes what would the answers to the questions be.

Would the companies tell the person that smoking is highly addictive? Once the person begins, smoking it is extremely difficult to quit it is highly doubtful. On the other hand, would they tell the person about the fact that there are many different chemicals added to the tobacco?

How about the results or the effect the chemicals have on the person once the chemicals are inhaled into the persons lungs. Would the tobacco companies tell the person that some of these chemicals are ingredients also found in poisons?

Alternatively, that smoking and does cause birth defects in babies of the women who smoke while pregnant moreover complications during the pregnancy, or cause the babies to be born addicted to nicotine. In addition, smoking reduces and contaminates breast milk increasing the chances of more illness in babies and infants in babies that do not receive colostrums from the breast milk.

Would the tobacco companies tell people that possibly some time in the future smokers would become dependent on oxygen? Smokers even develop cancer, bronchitis, asthma, and other life threatening diseases. All of which require multiple Doctors visits, hospital stays, x-rays, tests, even surgeries.

Moreover, that smoking stains teeth, and breaks down tooth enamel increasing chances of smoker developing bad teeth or rotting, and breathe. After years of smoking, the smoker will need dentures, or have complications and pain from the bad condition of the teeth.

What About the effect of the smokers’ second hand smoke and the danger it is to the smokers loved ones family members and children or spouse. If the tobacco companies when asked these questions and answered them truthfully the world would have less smokers, and less people with illnesses from the complications and effects of smoking. Any one of these things or a combination of all these things would surely make a potential smoker stop and think before trying or beginning to smoke if the companies would have told them.

Medical and dental expenses add up quickly and the cost only continues to raise not decrease the cost of funeral, and burial expenses also rise and not decrease. Therefore, it would be wise to ask the tobacco companies and the manufactures of the cigarettes questions the same as a person would when trying another product or service. There are many makes and styles of smokers and grills. Some units have been adapted to be both. Whatever is wanted by a customer looking around has probably already been built.

One type of smoker that can also grill is a pipe smoker. A pipe smoker is a twist on other smokers already being sold in the marketplace. A pipe type smoker has a long metal pipe coming up from the smoker unit. This is where the amount of smoke is contained allowing for whatever level of smoke in the cooking chamber. Because the smoke is also heated, one can adjust the temperature in the chamber by either opening the top of the pipe or closing it shut. Pipe smokers are convenient and are used by many people who smoke meat. Go to www.classic-dessert-collection.com. Pipe smokers come in many sizes. From small units used by couples without kids, to backyard units large enough to smoke larger amounts, there is a smoker built for just ones needs. There are even commercial size units that are towed by trucks. People who search out smoker restaurants may have seen large trailers behind the buildings of the restaurant without even thinking about it.

Smoker units can be located by searching the internet and by shopping in a store where they sell smokers. There are even specialty stores packed with almost any style desired. Proper Cooking Tips for Pipe Smokers Smoking meat is part skill, part experience, and part equipment. If someone is new to smoking meat, asking others about basic things one needs to learn will really help. Most individuals won’t share secrets about their recipes, but they will share the basics of what to do. One can look on the internet for recipes and some of that great taste. The longer someone smokes meat, the easier information and secret recipes will be learned.

Something that should be mentioned about pipe smokers is that the pipe is almost as hot as the cooking chamber itself. When adjusting the amount of smoke coming from the pipe, have a leather glove handy so that one can safely adjust the pipe lid without getting burned. If, while using the pipe smoker, bad weather should approach, the pipe smoker will be fine. The pipe is located at the rear of the smoker and is on the left or right. Rain coming in from the pipe will not drip into the cooking chamber because of its location, and water will not put out the fire for the same reason.

The larger, free-standing Smoker ovens enable a greater amount of food to be smoked at one time. Many of the larger, free-standing Smokers can be used for either hot or cold smoking. Although there are many different sizes of self-contained or free-standing Smoker units, the most common are the cabinet-like box ovens or oval ovens that may contain from 2 to 8 racks to hold the foods. Available with all types of heat sources, the easiest to use and control are the electric or infrared heat models. Many smoke the food with the use of a water pan placed on the bottom of the oven box. The most recent versions of technology being produced for Smokers is the Digital Smoker. This type of Smoking Oven is typically built as a stainless steel cabinet with instrumentation that precisely controls time, temperature and the amount of smoke used to flavor the food as it is cooked and smoked. For help visit www.bread-machine-cookbook.com. Often used to both hot or cold smoke meats and fruits, the Digital Smoker contains an infrared heat source with various wattages that may range from just over 100 watts to over 500 watts that are activated for cooking and smoking processes. It is important to realize that with any smoker and especially a stovetop smoker, a significant amount of smoke may be released during the cooking process. Therefore, an exhaust fan must be strong enough to adequately remove the smoke from any interior section of the house where the foods are being smoked with smaller types of Smokers. When purchasing a Smoker, ask about the oven bag, enclosed pan Smoker, or self-contained oven being provided with the Smoker. Some Smokers may allow too much smoke to escape, so it is wise to consider this potential problem before purchasing a specific type of Smoker. It is always wise to use Smokers, especially larger types of Smokers in areas that are outside of the interior of a home or building that may be adversely affected by the smoke smell, the heat of the unit or any other effect that may not allow it to be safely used. Read all equipment manuals thoroughly before proceeding with the smoking of any foods.

A smoker is a great way for you to cook any type of food – whether it is meat or vegetables. Remember that when you are cooking with a smoker, there are many differences between the kind of cooked food you are going to get and the food you are going to get if you don’t use a smoker.

Types Of Smokers

There are many different types of smokers that you can get. One of the most popular types of smokers are propane smokers. The propane smokers allow you to cook food in basically the same method as using a propane grill. The propane is what heats up the grill, just like the propane is what heats the air in a propane smoker.

What Can You Cook?

With a propane smoker, you can cook either meat or vegetables. There are many different types of meals that you can make with propane smokers, so you can feel free to experiment with all of the different types of food you might find when it comes to the smokers. Remember that with propane smokers you are going to need to allow a longer time to cook the food. This might be frustrating to some people but in the end most people seem to realize that a propane smoker is worth the time it takes to cook with it.

Is The Price Worth It

There are many reasons that propane smokers cook food that people love, despite the fact it often takes a long time to cook this way. First of all, the smoker itself provides a taste that is hard to beat. This is a method in which the smoke actually is used to cook the food, and therefore the taste of the food is much different and much more full and interesting than the taste of food that was simply grilled.

Differences In Tastes

In the end, the choice between propane smokers and regular grills simply comes down to the differences in the tastes. While many people either prefer smokers or grills, some people say that the tastes are simply so different that they need to have both a propane smoker and a grill so that they can experiment and cook with both. You might want to try a propane smoker several times before you decide to give up your grill for good. Most likely, you’ll want to keep both!

If you happen to be a smoker and are looking for affordable life insurance, you may soon realize that high life insurance rates are just a part of life for those who use any sort of nicotine. The reason for this is simple to understand; smokers are more at risk for such things as heart disease, cancer and cardiovascular disease than are those individuals who do not smoke. The life insurance industry regards the following as tobacco products whose use may lead to you incurring higher insurance premiums:

· Pipes

· Cigars

· Nicotine Gum

· Snuff

· Chew

· Dip

· Cigarettes

· Nicotine patches

Usually, when you are applying for life insurance, the agent will inquire about your smoking habits, and ask you if you are a daily smoker, a social smoker or an occasional smoker. A daily smoker is of course, someone who smokes every day. A social smoker is a person who smokes on special occasions or when out with friends; maybe just a few times a week, while an occasional smoker is one who smokes in random situations only once a month or so. While all smokers will generally pay higher rates for life insurance than non-smokers, discounts may be available for those who are not daily smokers, as they pose less of a risk to the insurance company.

If you are a smoker and dread the thought of paying high premiums for your life insurance, you need to do a bit of comparison-shopping in order to get the best price for your life insurance policy. This research is best conducted on the Internet, where hundreds of insurance companies will provide free life insurance quotes for smokers. You should request quotes from a number of companies, then compare what each has to offer. When you are comparing each company’s quote, there are three things to be aware of: pricing, product quality and the insurance industry rating. The pricing is self-explanatory and the product quality refers to the policy itself. The insurance industry rating refers to the insurance company providing the life insurance quote, and a review of companies can be found by visiting the “Standard & Poor’s” website. Also, there are insurance companies who specifically cater to high-risk individuals. One of these insurance companies may be able to secure a lower rate for you in your insurance policy.

Even though it may be a bit time consuming, you can find affordable life insurance, even if you are a smoker. Be diligent in your research of companies and the different types of life insurance policies that are available. Who knows, maybe being faced with a high life insurance premium is the motivation you need to finally stop smoking!

The struggle against smoking is taking place around the world. Some countries imposed tobacco producers with huge taxes. However, numerous studies have shown that these measures do not force people to stop cigarettes smoking.

Research Institute of Tobacco Free Society painted map of Europe, selected an average cost of 20 cigarette packets and indicating of smoking bans. According to “pipe” the most expensive cigarettes are in the northern part of Europe, and the cheapest cigarettes are in the east.

Most unlucky smokers are in Norway, the first place in the rating: pack of cigarettes costs 8.02 euros at the average. On the 1st January 2004 the government imposed a tight excise tax on cigarettes, the result – the cost of the cigarettes packs in one day increased by 47%.

Place Country The cost of the packet in euros

1 Norway 8.02

2 Iceland 7.57

3 UK 7.36

4 Ireland 6.35

5 France 5.00

6 Germany 4.47

7 Sweden 4.26

8 Denmark 4.16

9 Finland 4.10

10 Switzerland 4.06

Iceland takes the second place. Here one pack of cigarettes costs 7.57 euros. It is interesting that the name of the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik, is translated as “fuming” Bay, but the “tobacco wars” soon suppressed all cigarette outbursts. Since 1999, in Iceland have banned smoking in the educational, medical, and government institutions, as well as in cinemas. Bars and restaurants have not come under the ban yet, but only received references for settlement of rooms for non-smokers.

Smoking in Britain is not a cheap pleasure too. For the one cigarettes pack British smoker should pay 7.36 euros at the average. But soon the price for cigarettes packs may drop: the European Court of Justice called on Britain taxed European products (including alcohol and cigarettes) on the country of law. But that does not save inveterate smokers, because from February 2006, smoking is forbidden in the workplace and it is forbidden in pubs and disco clubs from 1 July 2007.

Moreover, some tobacco companies produce not expensive cigarettes to struggle with smoking. Inversely, it is part of their advertising strategy. For example, a pack of British Treasurer will cost you minimum $30. The Chancellor company makes no secret of the fact that they set price relying exclusively on the top brand name.

But the highest prices for cigarettes, perhaps, in California’s jails, where we observed the last smoking ban. This led to overtake tobacco became a shadow of trafficking drugs and alcohol. For example, to buy a pack of Marlboro cigarettes in prison one should pay $ 160, a tobacco seller get $ 5 000 per month.

How long have you been smoking? Whether it’s twenty years, thirty years, or maybe longer than you can remember, you’ll be glad to know that even “career smokers” can improve their health when they stop smoking and feel better almost immediately.

You’ve probably heard negative comments from other smokers, like: “Why should I stop now? I’ve been smoking my entire life,” or “My lungs are already damaged beyond repair. Stopping smoking now won’t make any difference.”

Fortunately, those beliefs are myths. With a little perseverance, will power, and maybe some outside help if needed, you can kick your smoking habit and reverse a good deal of the damage. Many smokers are surprised to learn that health improvements can occur within a matter of days.

Experience Immediate Results When You Stop Smoking

While most ex-smokers will tell you the first week is the hardest, they fail to mention the immediate health benefits from stopping smoking. Smokers are often so focused on their addiction and withdrawal symptoms that at first they might not realize the positive changes taking place in their bodies.

These are some common changes that occur within the first three days of stopping smoking:

1. Drop in pulse rate and blood pressure- Smoking has been known to increase the risk of high blood pressure. Within days of stopping smoking, most people experience a drop in their overall blood pressure and heart rate.

2. Increase in energy- After breaking your smoking habit, you should notice an increase in energy. Former smokers who suffered from fatigue often see an improvement in energy and stamina.

3. Nicotine elimination- In a matter of days, nicotine is eliminated from the body. The result is a boost to your senses. Foods will seem tastier than before and you’ll be more aware of both fragrant and foul smelling odors.

4. Breathing improvements- As changes occur in the bronchial tubes, breathing will become less of a chore. You’ll find your breathing will get lighter and more relaxed.

5. Carbon monoxide reduced- Smokers have an unhealthy level of carbon monoxide in the blood. In less than a day after stopping smoking, carbon monoxide levels will start to decrease, resulting in an increase of oxygen in the blood.

6. Lung cleansing- After carbon monoxide is removed from the blood stream, the lungs begin a much needed cleansing process. The heavy tar buildup that has accumulated in the lungs slowly starts to clear.

7. Healthier skin- Did you ever notice how some smokers have a dull, pasty complexion? By stopping smoking, you can improve your skin tone and reduce and prevent wrinkles.

Long Term Health Benefits From Stopping Smoking

Since smoking takes a gradual toll on your body, it’s unrealistic to expect all health improvements to occur overnight. Although you might not feel like a million dollars right away, rest assured that by stopping smoking now you’ll eventually experience major health improvements.

Here are some of the long-term benefits of breaking your smoking habit:

1. Less coughing- If coughing and hacking are a part of your daily routine, over the next several months these problems should decrease or be eliminated as the oxygen level in the lungs increases.

2. Easier exercise- Forget about huffing and puffing just to get up the stairs. Stopping smoking will improve your circulation, thus making exercise and everyday chores much simpler.

3. Fewer heart problems- Did you know smokers are at a greater risk when it comes to heart attacks? Thankfully the chance of having a heart attack will slowly start to decrease upon stopping smoking. After about ten years off tobacco, most former smokers no longer have an inflated risk for a heart attack. Even smokers who have already suffered from heart problems can reduce their risk of an additional heart attack by stopping smoking.

4. Reduced risk of lung disease- Perhaps the most common reason for stopping smoking is the fear of lung cancer. It’s true that the lungs take the most time to recover from cigarette smoking. But generally after a period of about ten years, most smokers will have reduced their chances of developing lung cancer by fifty percent.

Increase Your Life Expectancy… At Any Age

Whether you’re 35, 50, or 70 years old, the time to stop smoking is now. While younger smokers may tend to recover better from the ill effects of smoking, people of all ages can improve their overall health and increase life expectancy.

The key to success is to stop smoking before any serious health complications arise such as lung cancer or emphysema. However, if you have been diagnosed with either of these conditions or some other tobacco related illness, you can still boost your chances of recovery by stopping smoking immediately.

While receiving treatment for a serious illness, your body needs to be in the healthiest state possible. The sooner you stop smoking, the sooner your stress levels will decline, boosting your immune system to ward off life threatening diseases and conditions.

If you smoke, you know how difficult it is to Quit Smoking. Have you ever tried to quit smoking but you have failed because other people around you still smoke?

Several people try to quit smoking, but most fail. Most people when they quit smoking decide to try to quit. Through monitoring of their environment and adjusting their quitting techniques it is possible for people at all smoking levels to quit.

However, if the smoker makes the right decisions, understands them and can open their eyes to the truth about smoking and their smoking behaviour, it is possible for them to quit. Until now, drugs that purport to help you quit smoking have largely ignored the root of the problem Nicotine — the chemical that keeps you hooked to those insidious packs of cigarettes and unless you rid your body of that nasty chemical as quickly as possible the success of any Smoking Cessation treatment is reduced dramatically. As an ex-smoker and a former fatty (arguably!), I have found what I believe to be the solution to the problem. It is all to do with the decision. We may decide that we would like to quit smoking or that we would like to lose weight, but have we decided to commit to doing it?

Whatever kind of quit smoking approach or therapy you decide on, you should always seek professional advice from your doctor who will be able to prescribe for you the best medical treatment in accordance with your health conditions. When the smoker is finally able to quit smoking their trigger spots will still be there. A positive mental attitude to quitting smoking, coupled with a good understanding of why you really smoke will help any smoker quit the habit.

You can help you increase the chances of being successful during your effort to quit smoking by taking a walk or talking to a friend when you crave a cigarette . Research by the American Journal of Preventative Medicine has found that, on average, less than seven per cent of smokers who attempt to quit smoking on their own, are successful in being nicotine-free a year later. Given this similar rate of regular smoking at adulthood, women tend to smoke 2 cigarettes per day less than men, on average smoking 13 cigarettes compared to men smoking 15.

The postponing method means that every day, you delay the time you smoke your first cigarettes a little later until you can go through the whole day without smoking. If you follow the advice in this article then it should make quitting smoking a little easier, despite the fact that your friends and family smoke. “We affirm that environmental tobacco smoke is a significant public health risk to young children and that parents need to know about the risks of smoking in the home around their young children.

It was not until the 1950s that the dangers of smoking were firmly established but tobacco companies are now known to have gone out of their way to hide these facts from the public. Polls have shown that the vast majority of the population, smokers, ex-smokers and non-smokers alike all underestimate the dangers of both smoking and passive smoking. A vast majority of people who try to stop smoking find after a short period of time they resume the habit, many are unsuccessful simply because of the method they used to help them stop smoking.

In conjunction with the stop smoking tea provided to help people keep calm and reduce stress a reason many people give as to why they started smoking in the first place or why they are unable to stop. If you think this is a little morbid, why not do some research on famous smokers or people in the public eye who have died from smoking related illnesses?

If you really want to quit smoking, stop smoking tea is the best choice. You can quit smoking in 6 days without chemical side effects. Find out more information about it, make sure you click the link at resource box below.
