Negative ions have been used in clinical depression patients to improve mood disorders and reduce depression symptoms. These negative ions, in theory, should also enhance energy and decision making levels. The indoor air quality will improve, increase negative ions, oxygenation of the environment, enhance energy levels, reduce mold growth and airborne viruses, bacteria, and allergens. The equipment will also sanitize the air and eliminate bad odors such as nicotine smoke.

In theory, when nicotine smoke is removed from the habitation, in which an addicted smoker lives, that person should not be able to remember the smell of nicotine and therefore experience less addiction symptoms. We observed smokers addicted to nicotine that seemed to be more interested in smoking a cigarette after smelling someone else smoking, especially when not having smoked for a while.

The author has found as part of his Ph.D. project with Walden University that poor relationships among collaborators and teams at the workplace are responsible for the productivity level in which they work. Relationship building and team management could coincide with will-power management. If addiction in heavy smoker-addicts can be improved through increased addiction management skills by way of enhanced will-power, then it might also become possible to help manage teams and their relationships, especially during trying times.

This is however only a theoretical idea. Further studies are necessary about the relationship of addiction in nicotine addicts and the smelling of nicotine being a trigger to increase addiction. We have had the opportunity to observe nicotine addicts desiring a cigarette when smelling nicotine smoke. That was however fresh smoke. Nobody has yet identified that residue nicotine smoke on walls in a home or car having triggered the addiction symptoms and therefore made stop-smoking harder.

Results from additional research surveys will further help understand the view of the smokers how they feel different in respect to their addiction management and symptoms with the use of negative ion generating air purifiers.

There are of course many variables. These can be and are certainly not limited to the location of the home, its environment, the health of the person, the length of years of the person having been addicted, the will-power to manage addiction, the quantity of cigarettes smoked daily, and certainly the age of the person. One person may be able to manage addiction symptoms better than another person.

Then there is the smell and taste sensitivity that may play a factor in recognizing smoke odor versus smoke-free environment and how well the patients respond to the oxygenated negative-ion saturated environment. It is currently unknown if negative ions enhance will-power. In theory, as it improves mood, it should be possible. And the type of tobacco may also play a role and what the ingredients are of a specific cigarette brand.

It always is a wonder to me how people find smoking fascinating. I always thought it was more than that. There are reasons that people throw at me and some of them, no matter how sensible they think it is; doesn’t seem to appeal to my interest. Thus, I’ve never smoked a stick in my entire life and I’m proud to say it. I know for a fact that smoking is never good to a person’s body but I never think ill of people who smoke. Just because a person smokes, doesn’t mean that there is nothing good about them any longer.

A better way to let these people know that they are special as everyone else is to help them quit their smoking habit. Smoking is never healthy for anybody. Even the companies that manufacture cigarettes and tobaccos still give emphasis through a disclaimer that smoking is never good for anyone’s health. To set the record straight, smoking develops later on to a serious lung disease called lung cancer. If this doesn’t alarm any bell, nothing will and smoking will never be removed from your system.

Being addicted to smoking has negative effects already to your body, how more so, the act of smoking itself? The two are different, in a way that being addicted to smoking is already the after effect of it and yet, being addicted to it still has its own sub-categories of disadvantages. As for the act of smoking, it leads to ailments that are purely caused by the act itself.

If you value your health while you are young, you will never have to worry about any regrets in your later years. Smoking doesn’t only affect the lungs; but it also has negative effects to other parts of the body. An extremely scary fact is that, smoking has a tremendous effect on the skeletal system. The bones make our every movement possible but slowly, it increases the risk of fracture while decreasing bone density and the body’s rate of natural way to heal itself.

Smoking brings about so many negative effects physically. Help a friend from acquiring a grave sickness in the future.

Whenever someone considers that they possess the knowledge to catalog all of the threatening outcomes of smoking cigarettes in one or two elementary paragraphs they in all probability has not kept abreast with a lot of of the most recent exploration and scientific facts that are now available. It seems that on each and every occasion that a government body or science research laboratory finishes whatever type of research on the subject of smoking; there’s another twelve or so points to include on the list of the minacious consequences of smoking tobacco.

Umpteen people beyond question are cognisant of lung cancer and positively match that to a tobacco use. Are you also aware that sterility in both adult males and females is considered to be a supplementary consequence of smoking regularly? In adult males, smoking tobacco smothers healthy oxygen that allows the sperm cells to remain healthy and energetic. Sluggish or languorous spermatozoan is a most common reason for male infertility.

In females, smoking cigarettes can harm the ovulation processes by reducing the healthy supply of blood to the fallopian tubes. Being unable to release a healthy egg each and every monthly cycle can be leading cause of female infertility and yet even so innumerable women dare unaware of this diminished ability to conceive babies is a common result of smoking tobacco!

Whilst talking about cancer, the lungs are but one organ in the physical structure which can sustain damage. Innumerable people who smoke contract different strains of cancers which can affect the oral cavity and pharynx in addition to , manifestly whole areas of the anatomy that come into close contact with the intake from tobacco products are going to be more receptive to cancer triggering cells.

Whilst the tar and nicotine from cigarettes are assimilated into the bloodstream and blood journeys to every cell in the physical structure, there’s a chance for malignant cells to build up in almost all organs of the human anatomy. Cancers of the breast, kidneys, liver & cervix are also likely to be even more eventual outcomes of smoking tobacco.

Beyond question the consequences of smoking cigarettes on the respiratory system are likewise too numerous to write about here. The lungs inhale the hazardous smoke from cigarettes but can not purify the numerous poisonous substances contained in the tar ridden smoke. All parts of the human respiratory mechanism, ranging from the bronchi to the lung sacs, may be impacted and injured with every individual “coffin nail”.

If you’re a adult male or woman who’s considering attempting to stop smoking, it is never too late to start! The damage you’re causing to your respiratory system embodies too many damaging effects to ignore and the list of the catastrophic aftermaths of smoking tobacco is substantiate beyond doubt.

Since the 60s, smoking women has continued to grow: the proportion of smokers rose from 10 to 22% in 40 years on the 15 million smokers in USA. The women smoke more and more and earlier. The first cigarette is usually taken between 14 and 16 years. Cigarette smoke passes from the lungs to the brain within 10 seconds, carrying so much faster than would intravenous injection of illicit drugs. Smoking cigarette send some 4 000 chemicals to the body.

Tobacco and gynecological disorders

Smoking decreases the secretion of estrogen. It may therefore be responsible for menstrual disorders with irregularities and pain. There is also often a change of tone of voice, which becomes hoarse, and an increase of hairs. Menopause occurs 1 to 2 years earlier than average among smokers. Hot flashes are more intense and the risk of osteoporosis is increased. Tobacco also promotes the development of precancerous lesions of the cervix.

Tobacco and skin

Due to a lack of oxygenation of the skin, smokers are more often dull complexion and “clouded”. The cellular exchanges have slowed and the waste is not eliminated. The skin loose his radiance and elasticity. Wrinkles appear prematurely, with 10 to 20 years ahead, especially at the lips. Smoking stimulates the production of free radicals that damage the elastin and collagen.

Tobacco and pill

35% of women aged 20 to 44 years who take contraceptive smoke, increasing from 4 to 10 times the risk of cardiovascular problems. Combining a contraceptive with cigarettes is a major health hazard, especially past 35 years. Indeed, nicotine promotes deposition of fat in the blood vessels and damages arteries. The blood thickens and the risk of thrombosis, stroke and cerebral vascular accident (stroke) is accentuated. These evils are aggravated by contraceptives.

Smoking and Pregnancy

Cigarette smoking decreases by 50% female fertility: thickens the cervical mucus, preventing sperm progression, lack of estrogen reduces the quality of the uterine wall and restricts blood flow necessary for the implantation of the egg. Smoking increases by 3 the risk of miscarriage, and by 2 ectopic pregnancies and premature births. There is also stunted fetus that is not well oxygenated. Its weight is generally lower than 200 g at birth. In addition, smokers lactating produce 25% less milk than non-smokers.

Tobacco and weight

Smoking reduce the taste and smell. In addition, nicotine stimulates the nervous system that causes a cut-hunger, slows the storage of fat in adipocytes and artificially increases energy expenditure to 200 calories per day compared to non-smoker. The smokers have a weight lower than they would if they do not smoke (around 4 kg). So when you stop smoking, you just go back to your normal weight. No need to worry! However physical activity is still recommended to stabilize the weight. If you start to gain to much weight, try to eat better by cutting in the fat and salt.

It may be a good idea to consult a dietetist to help stabilize your weight while you stop smoking. Consulting a dietetist is a sure way to establish a healthy and balanced diet. Using dangerous product like laxative and purgative are dangerous and not the solution to long lasting weight loss!

Good luck!
