More men and women die from lung cancer than any other cancers. Who is most susceptible to this disease? Nearly 70 percent of the elderly 65 and older will be diagnosed with this disease. Three percent of lung cancer cases have appeared in people younger than 45 years old.

Until the 1930s, cancer of the lungs was not as prevalent but still quite common. However, once there was an increase of tobacco smoking use, lung cancer cases rose drastically. Asbestos Fibers – Mesothelioma and lung cancer through asbestos exposure is high. History of Lung Disease – People with a record of lung cancer are at a higher risk of developing it a second time. People who have survived a non-small cell lung cancers have a one to two percent risk to getting the disease a second time while those who have beaten small cell lung cancers have a six percent increase each year.

Air Pollution – The chances of getting lung cancer from air pollution is raised in individuals that breathe in polluted air every day. Pollution from cars, power plants and industrialized areas increases these risks. Yet, they only account for one percent of lung cancer related deaths. Experts have suggested that every day exposure to air heavily polluted can be compared to passive smoking.

My mom is insane. Now I know you are thinking im just another snotty 16 y.o. kid who is badalking his mom because he just got in trouble. But before this, my mom just isn’t right in the head. I promise. I wouldn’t lie on here, it wouldn’t benefit me because I wouldn’t get an accurate solution. Now, I’ve been in other trouble before, and I have been grounded for the whole summer before. My record doesn’t support me. But im a good kid, I would never hurt anyone! this was my first time getting caught smoking pot or anything, ive been using for about 2 years. I got caught in a hotel room balcony when my mom walked in. She hates me. She drove me 2 hrs home immediately, abondoning our vaction day, she won’t acccept my apology, I feel terrible. Furthermore, I don’t get my license i was meant to get tomarrow. On top of all that, Im about ready to kill myself because she says im going to be grounded til im 18 (im 16 now) and I believe her because she will do it! I promise you she will she is so crazy. I have a gf i like SO much and I just want to be with her, and now im afraid im going to lose her because of this. I need help. How can I get out of trouble in about 2 weeks? instead of 2 years…. im seriously going crazy cuz of this
my mom wont hug me. wen i try she moves away in disgust. and my mom HAS always thought id do drugs, this is not a shock to her. but she believes its the worst thing ive ever dun. and one more reason ur all rong is that she told me she doesn’t love me. please help
