There is a lot of quit smoking help available on the market today but they can mostly be categorized as either pharmaceuticals or nicotine replacement therapies. What both pharmaceuticals and NRT have in common is that they are produced by the world’s biggest drug companies. Now call me a conspiracy theorist but I’d don’t believe that these companies are creating quit smoking aids for the benefit of humanity. They are huge companies with a crowd of shareholders to keep happy after all.

For this reason I was always wary of using drugs when I attempted to quit smoking, of course in the end I was using an electronic cigarette, so you could say I’m slightly crazy. The thing is, I’ve recently been hearing about all the nasty side affects caused by one quit smoking aid drug in particular known as Champix.

Champix has been a phenomenal success since it was introduced to the market, with an incredible 9 million people using it as a quit smoking aid and the drug raking in almost $900 million for Pfizer in its first year on the market. However, in the 12 months there have been a number of alarming reports about users suffering from severe depression and even suicides while taking the drug.

Pfizer denies any relationship between the drug and the psychological problems suffered by users, it says that “Quitting smoking, with or without treatment, is associated with nicotine withdrawal symptoms and the exacerbation of underlying psychiatric illness”.

Electronic Cigarette can be used as an alternative to a cigarette, and fulfill your psychological needs of smoking, by allowing you to blow out smoke-like water vapor. Electronic Cigarette is not a smoking cessation device, and has not been medically proven to help users quit smoking. Electronic cigarettes also look, feel and even taste like regular cigarettes, but are far superior because they are by and large safer than tobacco products.

The choice is yours if you want to use these products but I’m glad I decided to give them a miss and stick with my trusty e cigarette and my copy of “The Easy Way to Quit Smoking”.

What the article here goes to prove is the stop smoking help needs to come from the smoker itself. Quit smoking naturally seems to be literally impossible. While people discuss quitting and taking stop smoking help the cigarettes do the talking. “Not now. There are other important things, so probably after a few weeks.” And this trend goes on for a never arriving d-day.

It’s more or less like the cigarettes write the script and the smokers learn their lines. The halo of good health comes from attempting a quit smoking naturally help but is blasphemized by the fiery red devil in the form of tobacco rolled in paper with ‘a fire at one end and a fool at the other’.

Initiatives like legalizing smoke, imposing punitive for smoking in public places, making it mandatory for 70 percent of the cigarette packet area to contain the statutory warning, reducing the nicotine content and added to all these, a few more heavy duty propositions by the governing bodies of all countries will go a long way in sending the habit into thin air.

Opinions, as always, have been divided. One huge part of the population is gravely addicted while another huge lot is on its way. Even a simple suggestion of asking them to try a quit smoking naturally will seem like a long address to them.

The restrictions by the ruling authorities in some countries could not do much because the restriction rebounded to only increase the practice in private places or the smoking zones so as to compensate for not smoking in public places. The presumption that smoking gives a “so called cool look” still prevails. This immature attitude in fact encourages pre-teens to go for it. Picking influence from movies, television and other sources is multiplying those joining in the habit. Regulars to clubs, parties, and other socials are the first ones to pick up the habit. However lenient or severe precincts or more bans may be, but only play a negligible part in totally giving a stop smoking help and pushing away the product. The major or vital contribution should come from the smokers themselves as exercising self control and accepting any form of quit smoking naturally for curbing the habit is much harder than just following a set of rules. Hence the decision on the fate and date of the last puff rests with the smoker himself!

It always is a wonder to me how people find smoking fascinating. I always thought it was more than that. There are reasons that people throw at me and some of them, no matter how sensible they think it is; doesn’t seem to appeal to my interest. Thus, I’ve never smoked a stick in my entire life and I’m proud to say it. I know for a fact that smoking is never good to a person’s body but I never think ill of people who smoke. Just because a person smokes, doesn’t mean that there is nothing good about them any longer.

A better way to let these people know that they are special as everyone else is to help them quit their smoking habit. Smoking is never healthy for anybody. Even the companies that manufacture cigarettes and tobaccos still give emphasis through a disclaimer that smoking is never good for anyone’s health. To set the record straight, smoking develops later on to a serious lung disease called lung cancer. If this doesn’t alarm any bell, nothing will and smoking will never be removed from your system.

Being addicted to smoking has negative effects already to your body, how more so, the act of smoking itself? The two are different, in a way that being addicted to smoking is already the after effect of it and yet, being addicted to it still has its own sub-categories of disadvantages. As for the act of smoking, it leads to ailments that are purely caused by the act itself.

If you value your health while you are young, you will never have to worry about any regrets in your later years. Smoking doesn’t only affect the lungs; but it also has negative effects to other parts of the body. An extremely scary fact is that, smoking has a tremendous effect on the skeletal system. The bones make our every movement possible but slowly, it increases the risk of fracture while decreasing bone density and the body’s rate of natural way to heal itself.

Smoking brings about so many negative effects physically. Help a friend from acquiring a grave sickness in the future.

Smoking Cessation Information Center. Quit Smoking… With a Little Help From Your Friends…
You’ve decided. This time, you’re really ready to quit smoking. And you aren’t going to take no for an answer.
So, how do you ensure that your determination to stop smoking delivers results that last? How do you convince yourself, and everyone else, that this isn’t just another cold turkey experiment doomed to end in failure, like those other times?
If you’ve tried going it alone or using quit smoking aids like nicotine gum and patches all to no avail, maybe it’s time to try something new… to give yourself a fighting chance. After all, this could literally be the fight of your life.
Do You Need Help to Stop Smoking?
You probably could use some outside help to stop smoking if:

You have tried hard to quit smoking or cut back but haven’t been able to.

You want to stop smoking for good, but just keep puffing away.

You find you need more cigarettes to get the same good feeling you used to get from them.

When you try to stop smoking, you have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms like cigarette cravings, anxiety, irritability, headaches, stomachaches, restlessness, drowsiness and difficulty concentrating.

You have a serious health problem you know is made worse by tobacco use (like heart or breathing problems) but you just can’t quit smoking.

If any of these sound like you, it may be time to ask your doctor about prescription quit smoking aids and how to get the most out of them.
The Facts About Prescription “Helpers”: Zyban and Chantix
There are two main prescription-only tablets on the market being prescribed by doctors to help their patients quit smoking: Zyban and Chantix. They are both nicotine-free products taken in tablet form to help reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms. But they have distinct differences.

Quit Smoking With Zyban

Zyban works on brain chemicals, reducing your urge to smoke and lessening the withdrawal symptoms. This makes it easier for many users to quit smoking and stay quit. You take a Zyban pill twice a day and then decide on a date to stop smoking, usually in the second week of taking Zyban.
Zyban makes the process of quitting easier by minimizing the withdrawal symptoms outlined earlier and controlling your nicotine cravings. Its active ingredient, bupropion, is also contained in Wellbutrin, a prescription anti-depressant.
It’s important to note that Zyban is NOT a magic bullet. It works for about 1/3 of users who were able to quit smoking for at least a month with its help. That success rate drops off over time. Your chances will be increased if you use Zyban in combination with a stop smoking support program or counseling.
Zyban is possibly the best known and most prescribed smoking cessation aid, but a newer product – Chantix – actually boasts a higher success rate.
Quit Smoking With Chantix
Chantix is also a prescription-only medication taken orally to help quit smoking. Like Zyban, it contains no nicotine so if needed it can be used with nicotine replacement products like gum or patches. You take one Chantix for the first three days of treatment, and then two a day until treatment ends.
The documentation on Chantix quotes independent studies that show Chantix is better at helping participants kick the habit: it says 44% were able to stop smoking with Chantix while only 30% quit while on Zyban.
This could be because Chantix is a considerably different product with unique properties. Its active ingredient is varenicline, not bupropion. And it has a dual action mechanism to help stop smoking:

Even though Chantix doesn’t contain any nicotine, it provides the body with some nicotine-like effects that help ease the cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

And Chantix also works to block the effects of nicotine on the brain to reduce the pleasure reward of smoking.

Summing Up
Treatment with both Zyban and Chantix lasts at least 12 weeks, maybe longer if you need additional support to stay off cigarettes. Your doctor is the best person to ask about which product is better for you. He or she will take into account any medical conditions you may have and drugs you currently use to ensure no negative interactions.

“Quitting smoking is easy. I’ve done it a thousand times.â? This quote by Mark Twain, aptly describes how tough it is for the addicts to stop smoking once and for all. Quitting cold turkey does help many smokers but many succumb to the temptation of having a puff again which gradually leads them back to their habit of chain smoking. In fact it has been observed that some smokers have to make 3 â?? 10 attempts to quit smoking in their life.

To make quitting attempts convenient and successful there are several quit smoking aids available in the market. Smokers can get help from a doctor or a dentist to decide on the most suitable quit smoking aid for them when they make a committed decision to quit.

Quit Smoking Aids
Smokers are very much aware of the health risk posed by cigarettes on their body and most of them have an unconscious desire to break the habit one day. The biggest fear faced by smokers thinking about quitting are the withdrawal symptoms and whether they will be too much to handle. Withdrawal symptoms like cravings, headache, cough, fatigue, anxiety, anger, insomnia, constipation, weight gain etc can put tremendous pressure on someone who is trying to give it up, and more than often leads to them picking up the habit again. Often, the fear of nicotine withdrawal symptoms dissuade smokers from even making an attempt to quit smoking while those who attempt give in to the symptoms and get back to their old habit.

To help smokers quit successfully with minimum discomfort there are large number of quit smoking aids available today. Listed here are few of the most successful ones â??

-Nicotine Replacement Therapy
The nicotine in cigarettes causes an addiction and unpleasant feelings of withdrawal when a person tries to quit. Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) works by providing the body with nicotine generally in the form of a Nicotine Chewing Gum or Nicotine Patch without the other harmful parts of tobacco. Other forms of nicotine based quit smoking aids include nicotine tabs, lozenges, nicotine nasal spray, inhalators. These aids can help a person concentrate more on quitting the habit of smoking by relieving the symptoms of withdrawal.

However, since NRTs contain nicotine, a certain risk of re-addiction is involved when using these products. Therefore, one must use this method carefully by following instructions from doctor.

-Nicotine-Free Quit Smoking Aids
These days there are several forms of quit smoking aids that do not use nicotine as an active ingredient. These are prescription based drugs and hence should be taken under a doctorâ??s care.

Zyban – The active ingredient in this quit smoking aid is bupropion hydrochloride. Developed as an anti-depressant drug, Zyban has been shown to dramatically reduce physical withdrawal symptoms associated with nicotine and hence works well as a smoking cessation aid.

Chantix â?? Developed by Pfizer, Chantix (varenicline tartrate) was approved by FDA in May 2006. Unique property of this popular quit smoking aid is that it reduces the level of satisfaction derived from smoking. Chantix also reduces the nicotine withdrawal effects and thus makes it convenient to quit.

Processes to Follow Quit Smoking Aids
Following processes may help smokers quit smoking successfully –

1.Decide to Quit â?? This is the fundamental aspect of any smoking cessation program. Tell yourself honestly that you want to quit and you will quit.

2.Prepare to Quit â?? Planning makes it possible. Set a quit date, seek support of your friends and family, and be prepared for the cravings that come with withdrawal.

3.Use Quit Smoking Aids â?? Quitting cold turkey is tough for people addicted to nicotine. Prescription drugs like Chantix reduce the impact of withdrawal and helps you quit successfully.

Benefits of Quit Smoking Drugs
Studies reveal that quit smoking drugs quadruples a personâ??s chances to quit smoking as compared to trying it cold turkey. The best part of quit smoking drugs like Chantix is that it makes quitting a painless process as it significantly reduces the effects of nicotine withdrawals. The other good characteristic of Chantix is that is makes smoking less enjoyable for you. People on Chantix do not derive any pleasure out of smoking and are therefore reluctant to light up again. This is a significant feature of Chantix for smokers who are unable to bear the craving and have a tendency to break their smoking cessation program by lighting a cigarette.

Seek your doctorâ??s approval before using Chantix as a quit smoking aid and get the cigarettes out of your life, forever.

With the nation on the brink of economic collapse, Wall Street panic at an all time high, and hedge funds and financial institutions disintegrating, New York based Elliott Associates has parked an additional $1 billion into Ryan Kavanaugh’s Relativity Media which will finance a large slate of Universal Pictures’ films over the next few years.

And the question remains “why?” in today’s economic crisis as well as the recent pull out of billions of dollars in institutional capital from the studios.

No matter how bad things are in the world, people need to be entertained. And while the crowd mentality of panic in the U.S. financial markets exists, overseas, properly structured commercial films generate more revenues which add to bigger distributor buys with the Euro vs. USD.

Apart from Elliott Associates, other investors including billionaires, family offices from Wall Street to Silicon Valley to the Middle East to Russia have been parking their money into Hollywood

Larry Ellison Of Oracle, Paul Allen Of Microsoft, Steven Rales, Fred Smith of Federal Express, Norman Waitt, the Co-Founder of Gateway Computers, Jeff Skoll Of Ebay, Marc Turtletaub of The Money Store, Roger Marino Of EMC Corp, Sidney Kimmel Of Jones Apparel Group, Minnesota Twins owner Bill Pohlad; Real Estate Developers Tom Rosenberg and Bob Yari, and, financiers Sheikh Waleed Al Ibrahim, Michel Litvak, and Philip Anschutz are all behind the finance of a lot of films that range from box office hits to Academy Award winners.

While the glamour of the movie business may be appealing to most, at the end of the day, it is still an unknown business that many try to gamble on, and only a handful come out as winners. The real key is to minimize risk, maximize profits, and offer a steadier stream of revenues than what other alternative investments may offer such as real estate, oil & gas, commodities, hedge funds, or practically any other investment in today’s market.

Instead of dazzling investors with smoke and mirror Monte Carlo simulation models that offer various IRR’s and scenarios based on unpredictable film revenues streams, the key is to offer an absolute return on investment utilizing international and U.S. public tax incentives that in certain instances can guarantee 100% or more of invested capital prior to revenues by leveraging equity positions with non-recourse debt.

Investors who either want to take a 100% Federal deduction under Section 181 or “The American Jobs Creations Act” against their ordinary income, get an additional 20-40% in tradable and monetized state tax credits or cash rebates, have a hedge of revenues from a slate of films, as well as stimulating local and international economic development, and creating jobs, including for women and minorities.

Sound too good to be true?

Not too many other alternative investments can offer tax incentives, multiple exit strategies, the potential to guarantee 100% of capital, giving back to the American economy and labor, while being involved with the moviemaking process that would also add to the long line of recent film funds that have been structured with numerous hedge funds, private equity investors, corporate tax credit buyers, and institutions.

In today’s shaky financial markets, not too many businesses can be started that can have an almost predictable ROI prior to operations and profits.

The negative impact of smoking on health has been well documented for decades, and there is becoming an ever increasing shift towards kicking the habit for good. Sadly, nicotine is more addictive than crack cocaine, and this is evident in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions worldwide who try and fail to give up every single year. One proven successful treatment in the fight against the tobacco habit has been hypnosis. With a proven track record, hypnosis is becoming an increasingly popular alternative to will power and other treatment methods, and with a real desire and passion to stop, it can be very effective indeed.

Hypnosis treatment for your smoking habit usually takes the form of one or more sessions with an experienced professional hypnotist. He or she will invite you to his or her office, where you will firstly discuss your objectives, and get some idea of how the process works and how they are going to tackle your habit. This will provide a great opportunity for you to ask questions as desired, or to allay any fears or anxieties you may have about the process. Additionally, it should allow you to feel comfortable with the hypnotist before you begin the treatment. It is only natural to feel skeptical, and don’t try to disguise this from the hypnotist. Let them know exactly how you feel, so they can do their best to help you out.

The hypnotist will encourage you to take a seat or some other relaxed position to enable you to rest for the procedure. He will then begin discussing the importance of relaxing and direct you as required to lead you into the desired state. Try to be as accommodating as possible, and follow the instructions. Allow your mind to explore the directions you are given, and remain open-minded as to the process. Do not rubbish the hypnotist, but rather relax and listen to what he says. Expect a relaxed, almost sleep-like feeling, and expect to feel significantly refreshed and relaxed after you’re done. Hypnosis isn’t earth shattering, but with the right approach, it can be really effective in stopping you smoking.

Complimentary to your hypnosis therapy, you’re also going to need a determination and will power to ensure you keep off the tobacco. Smoking is a very hard habit to break, but with the combination of factors, it is certainly possible, and by remaining open minded as to the available techniques, hypnotism can play a vital part for anyone in kicking the habit.

A lot of people nowadays staunchly believe that hypnotherapy treatments as an aid to quit smoking, are just hocus pocus and a waste of hard earned money. They staunchly believe that the modern times, folks shouldn’t be so gullible as to trust that a mesmerist can help with such life-threatening concerns they might have and commonly poke fun at an individual who discusses their own accounts of “stop smoking hypnosis”.

Naysayers who bash mesmerism as a process to assist people to break their smoking habit generally do not in full perceive how the entire operation delivers the goods. Their exclusive perception of hypnotism is confined to what they’ve seen during entertainment type presentations, where a slickly dolled up performing artist sets a group of ordinary looking people into a hypmnotic trance then induces them to prance about like a chicken or bark like a domestic dog every time they ring a bell.

Whilst these exhibits may be beguiling and ingenious, quit smoking hypnotherapy treatments are altogether contrasting. Hypnosis functions by the powerfulness of auto-suggestion. By putting an individual in a really minor trance, they’re more capable of visualising the thought you are passing on to them. The second their thinkings have vaporised and they’ve the capacity to center on the hypnotiser’s spoken voice, they can then are much more likely t to absorb and afterward achieve the propositions.

The majority of quit smoking hypnosis treatment sessions begin by having a relaxed chat with the patient regarding their daily routines and what they are hoping to win from the sitting. The mesmerist’s target is to put his patient into a calm state and see to it they feel very contented, reassuring them that not a single bad thing will occur while they are in a mesmeric state.

Employing that powerfulness of allusion. The stop cigarette smoking hypnosis sitting will carry on to start with the therapist suggesting a way of harmonizing to what the patient will feel the next instant they’re enticed to smoke tobacco. The hypnotherapist might state to him or her they’ll feel strange and uncomfortable, that he or she might visualize cigarettes as dangerous and obnoxious.

A few people do not respond well hypnotherapy treatments under any surroundings and not leaving out those that retort really well. A few sessions of break the habit of smoking hypnotisis treatments may well be all that is required for some patients to stop the smoking habit without cravings and no overwhelming desire to smoke cigarettes.

If you are an individual who’s trying to renounce tobacco products and mayhap believe you have depleted all of the other alternatives, you may want to consider hazarding a chance with a stop cigarette smoking treatment course by hypnotism. At the end of the day, over than losing that dreadful addiction to nicotine, what else do you have to lose?
